Almaty, Kazakhstan — 1 November 2026 — Alain Khoueiry, Founder and Chairman of iHolding Group, is placing aviation and logistics infrastructure at the heart of the Group’s development ambitions in Kazakhstan through its participation in SolitAir Kazakhstan and the planned Cargo City project.
The strategy addresses two complementary needs in international trade: moving goods between markets and developing the facilities required to handle, store and distribute them.
Through its shareholding in SolitAir Kazakhstan, iHolding aims to contribute to the development of air-cargo opportunities. Alongside this interest, Cargo City is envisioned as a logistics and commercial development in the Almaty region, supporting a broader ambition to strengthen Kazakhstan’s connections with international supply chains.

According to iHolding, Cargo City is planned across approximately 4,500 hectares. Its proposed direction includes warehousing, distribution, cargo-related services and supporting commercial facilities. The project’s final scope and delivery timetable will depend on detailed studies, applicable approvals, infrastructure arrangements and financing.
Khoueiry sees potential to engage experienced industry partners as these initiatives develop, with an emphasis on commercial demand and practical implementation.
